The 1984 batch IPS officer of Gujarat cadre, Rakesh Asthana has not get plea from Supreme Court of India to get appointment as CBI Special Director. A Bench of Justices R.K. Agrawal and A.M. Sapre said, “the writ petition is dismissed.” On November 24, the court reserved its order on the matter.
