IPS officer Satish Golcha has been entrusted an additional as Director General of Prison, Delhi.
The appointment comes following the retirement of incumbent DG Prison, Sanjay Beniwal (IPS: 1989: AGMUT). Now from April 30, 2024 onwards the Delhi administration has appointed Satish Golcha as DG (Prison), GNCTD in an interim measure.
A year 1992 batch senior IPS officer Satish Golcha hails from the AGMUT cadre. A proposal seeking clearance for appointment of an officer as DG (Prison), GNCTD has already been submitted to the Election Commission of India (ECI).
