IPS officer Saroj Kumar Thakur has been appointed as Deputy Inspector Genera in Sashastra Seema Bal.
As per a recently issued notification by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, name of IPS officer Saroj Kumar Thakur has been mandated for the position of Deputy Inspector Genera in Sashastra Seema Bal.
A year 2010 batch IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, Saroj Kumar Thakur is currently serving as Joint Commissioner, Law and Order (East), Greater Chennai,. With the appointment on a central deputation basis, Thakur will be serving for next five years.
