IRS officer Santosh K Verma & IRS officer Abhinav Gupta have been entrusted with new responsibilities at the Centre.
As per the recent mandate of Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, name of IRS officer Santosh K Verma &IRS officer Abhinav Gupta have been approved for assignment of new responsibilities at the Centre. Both of them have been given a total five year term to serve.
IRS officer Abhinav Gupta (C&IT-2004) has been made DG, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), New Delhi under the Department of Commerce, whereas IRS officer Santosh K Verma (1995) has been posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs.
