Economist Sanjiv Sanyal will now be working as the GIPE Chancellor.
Noted economist Sanjiv Sanyala at present serving as a member of Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Counci. Now with a new order from the competent authority, he has been mandated for the position of Chancellor of Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE).
The Sanyal appointment is apparently due to the resignation of Dr Bibek Debroy from his position on September 27, 2024. The Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE) is a Pune-based Institute.
