IPS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh’s VRS plea has been accepted by Odisha Government.
Recently Odisha Government has approved the voluntary retirement of senior IPS Sanjay Kumar Singh. IPS Singh was last appointed as Deputy Director General of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
Earlier top cop Singh had opted for voluntary retirement from bureaucracy on February 29th, 2024.
Due to have attained 59 years of age, IPS Singh has completed 27 years of qualifying service. Thus now he is eligible to retire from state Government’s service and with the help of Sub-Rule (2) of Rule 16 of AIS (DCRB) Rule, 1958, his VRS plea has been approved.
