IAS officer Sameer Rastogi has been appointed as the new boss in the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department.
The state government of Himachal Pradesh has appointed 1988-batch IFS officer Sameer Rastogi as the Forest Force Chief (Half). He is succeeding Dr. Pavanesh, who is retiring from the department.
Through a recently issued notification, the Personnel Department has announced the change in leadership. IFS office Sameer Rastogi is currently serving as the Chief Project Director (CPD) of the JICA Forestry Project.
