IAS officer Saket Kumar has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Home Affairs, Amit Shah.
Following a notification from the competent authority, name of IAS officer Saket Kumar has been mandated for the position of Private Secretary to the Minister for Home Affairs, Amit Shah.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for appointment of Shri Saket Kumar, lAS (BH:2009) as Private Secretary to the Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation (Amit Shah) in the Mb Home Affairs.
Kumar will be serving at the level of Director with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post and for the period up to 16.08.2025 (i.e. for the maximum admissible limit of 7 year away from cadre) in
relaxation of upper limit of 5 years of working as PS/OSD.
