IPS officer Sadanand V Date and S Suresh have been entrusted new responsibilities at the Center.
Year 1990 batch IPS officer Sadanand Vasant Date hails from Maharashtra cadre. With the new order issued by the competent authority he now has been appointed as Director General, National Investigation Agency.
IPS Date has been given a work tenure of one year nine months from the day of assuming office up to his superannuation on December 31, 2026. He replaces Dinkar Gupta (IPS: 1987: PB) upon his superannuation on March 31, 2024.
On the other hand year 1995 batch of IPS officer S Suresh hails from Kerala cadre. He has been assigned the responsibility as ADG in SPG by temporarily upgrading one post of IG to ADG level.
