S N Tripathi given an addl charge as Coir Board Chairman

An IAS officer, S N Tripathi, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, has been given an additional charge as Coir Board Chairman. It has also been decided that before appointing a regular Chairman, the Ministry will examine the difficulties and opportunities before the coir industry, a Ministry release said. The Coir Board is a statutory body under the MSME Ministry.
