Rights of persons with disabilities bill to be tabled in Parliament

The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill, 2014 is scheduled to be tabled in the Rajya Sabha today.The bill will give effect to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, be taken into consideration.
It will also enhance the reservation of Divyang from 4 percent to 5 percent in education and 3 to 4 percent in government jobs.
