Retired IAS Pu Lalmalsawma has been posted Chairperson, Lokayukta in the state of Mizoram.
Following the administrative order issued by the Mizoram state government, Retired IAS Pu Lalmalsawma has been mandated to be appointed as the Chairperson of the Lokayukta, Mizoram.
Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, the Governor of Mizoram, has administered oath to Pu Lalmalsawma, as the new Chairperson of Mizoram Lokayukta.
Year 1983 batch IAS officer Lalmalsawma is from the AGMUT cadre, who has served as Director in the Ministry of Human Resource Development for four years from 1996 to 2000.
IAS Lalmalsawma has in various capacities served in the bureaucracy across Delhi, Goa, Mizoram, and the Central government. Serving on many eminent ranks in education, finance, SC/ST/OBC welfare, health, and general administration, he had a long stint spanning over thirty five years in the bureaucracy.
