In the state of Telangana: Retired, IAS BV Rao has been made Chairman, Commission for Backward Classes.
In accordance with a directive issued by the state administration of Telangana, name of Retired IAS officer BV Rao has been approved for the new assignment of Chairman, Commission for Backward Classes in the state.
A 1993-batch retired IAS officer Mr Rao was earlier serving as the Commissioner of the state’s fisheries department.
