Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay has resigned paving way for speculation about his joining politics.
Calcutta High Court Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay has lately resigned from the service which paved way for speculations about his new inning in politics.
As per the speculations, he may join the Bharatiya Janata Party in the days to come. Justice Gangopadhyay was scheduled to retire in the month of August this year. But unexpectedly he sent his resignation today to President Draupadi Murmu.
During an interview a few days ago Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay had also hinted about his willingness to join politics after quitting the legal arena.
