The Appointment Committee of Cabinet has approved the five key appointments of the Secretaries in the Government of India.
- Sh. Siraj Hussain, IAS (UP:79), Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, as Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Co-operation, Ministry of Agriculture vice Shri Ashish Bahuguna, IAS (RJ:78) retiring on 28.02.2015.
- Sh. Ranglal Jamuda, IAS (OR:81), Special Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Co-operation, Ministry of Agriculture as Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries vice Shri Siraj Hussain, IAS (UP:79), on his relinquishing the charge of the post.
- Sh. Ashok Kumar Angurana, IAS (JK:80), Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj as Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture vice Shri Anup Kumar Thakur, IAS (AM:79) retiring on 28.2.2015.
- Sh.S.M. Vijayanand, IAS (KL:81), Special Secretary, Department of Rural Development, as Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj vice Shri Ashok Kumar Angurana, IAS (JK:80), on his relinquishing the charge of the post.
- Sh. Jugal Kishore Mohapatra, IAS (OR:79), Secretary, Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers as Secretary, Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development in the vacancy of Shri L.C. Goyal, IAS (KL:79).
