As many as 12 officers belonging to Indian Police Service (IPS) have been transferred and posted at different places in Karnataka. The transferred officers are:
- Prem Shankar Meena has been appointed as ADG, Lokaukta
- H N Sathyanarayana Rao will now be ADG, Communication, Logistics and Modernization
- N S Megharik is ADG, Recruitment & Training.
- Pronob Mohanty has been appointed as IG, CID
- Seemant Kumar Singh Pas ED, Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation
- P Harishekaran as ADG, Crime, Bangalore City
- S Murugan as IG & Commander, Anti-Naxal Force, Bangalore
- B R Ravikanthe Gowda as SP, Belgaum
- Dr Chandra Gupta as SP,
- Ramangara Anupam Agarwal as Deputy Commissioner, Law & Order, Belgaum City
- C Vamsi Krishna was SP, Dharwad district.
