As many as 16 officers have been appointed at Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent post in the Govt of India. The names of the officers are:

1. U. Venkateswarlu, lAS (TR:1986), Financial Commissioner, ESIC under the Ministry of Labour & Employment appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment,  by temporarily upgrading a newly created vacant post of Director in the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment to JS level for a period of two years;
2. Vinod Kumar Tiwari, IFoS (HP: 1986) appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs vice Shri Manoj K. Pingua, IAS(CG:1994).
3. Ms. Ruby Srivastava, IRS (IT:86) appointed as Director(Finance), NPCIL under the Department of Atomic energy vice Shri R. Preman Dinaraj, IA&AS(1984).
4. Ms. Anita Karwal, lAS (GJ: 1988) as Joint Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a period of five years vice Ms. Satbir Bedi, IAS(AGMUT:1986).
5. Venudhar Reddy Nukala, I. Info Service (1988) as Joint Secretary, Department of Investment & Public Asset Management vice Shri Ashok Pal Singh,IPoS(1986).
6. Ms. Niva Singh, IRAS(1988) appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs Ms. Rakhee Gupta Bhandari, IAS(PB:1997).
