Reshuffle of 13 officers in the Govt of India

As many as 13 appointments have been approved by the Appointment Committee of Cabinet. Accordingly,

1. The 1985 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre, Rabindra Panwar, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Defence appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Defence vice Shri Suresh Kumar, lAS (J&K: 1986).
2. The 1984 batch IA&AS officer, Ms. Meenakshi Gupta, Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Labour & Employment appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertlizers vice Shri Gajendra Bhujbal, IES(1981) on his superannuation on 31.10.2016.
3. The 1985 batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre, Arun Goel,Vice Chairman in the Delhi Development Authority under the Ministry of Urban Development on lateral shift appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Labour & Employment vice Ms. Meenakshi Gupta, IA&AS (1984).
4. The 1986 batch IAS officer of UT cadre, S. N. Sahai presently in his Cadre appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry vice Shri Arvind Mehta, lAS (HP:1984).
5. The 1985 batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre, Sumanta Chaudhuri, presently in his Cadre appointed as Managing Director in the Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium under the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary under Central Staffing Scheme.
6. The 1983 batch IFoS officer of UK cadre, Ashok Pai, Joint Secretary in the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes on lateral shift appointed as Chief Executive Officer in the National Waqf Development Corporation Limited (NAWADCO) under the Ministry of Minority Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
7. The 1984 batch IDAS officer, Ms. Anuradha Mitra, Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
8. The 1984 batch ICAS officer, Ms. Vandana Sharma, Joint Secretary in the Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare.
9. The 1986 batch IAS office of J&K cadre, Suresh Kumar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Coal against the vacancy on appointment of Shri A. K. Dubey, lAS (KL:1982) as OSD in the Department of Youth Affairs.
10. The 1986 batch IAS officer of AM cadre, Sanjeeva Kumar, presently in his Cadre appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare vice Shri C. K. Mishra, IAS(BH:1983)as Secretary, Ministry of Health & FamilyWelfare.
11. The 1985 batch IAS officer of UT cadre, Arun Goyal, Additional Secretary in Project Monitoring Group, Cabinet Secretariat on lateral shift appointed as Additional Secretary, GST Council.
12. The 1985 batch IAS officer of Odisha cadre, U. P. Singh, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation appointed as Additional Secretary in the River Ganga(Rejuvenation, Protection and Management) Authority.
13. The 1984 batch IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre, Udai Pratap Singh, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism on lateral shift appointed as Vice Chairman in the Delhi Development Authority under Ministry of Urban Development in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary vice Shri Arun Goel, lAS(PB:1985).
