IAS officer Shalini Rajneesh has now gotten elevated as the Chief Secretary of Karnataka replacing her husband.
A year 1989 batch senior bureaucrat from Karnataka cadre, Dr Shalini Rajneesh was currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary to Government-cum-Development Commissioner, Government of Karnataka. Now replacing hubby Dr Rajneesh Goel (IAS: 1986: KN), she will now be serving as the Chief Secretary (CS).
Shalini is going to be the third bureaucrat in Karnataka’s history to succeed her husband as Chief Secretary after Malati Das (Retd IAS: 1970: KN), who served succeeding her husband, BK Das as CS from October 2 to December 30, 2006.
