Former IRS officer Rakesh Kumar Goyal has lately been given appointment as the new Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) chief of Punjab. Eight months after the retirement of Satya Gopal (Retired IAS: 1988: AGMUT) as its chairman, Goyal was appointed to the coveted post
Rakesh Kumar Goyal was earlier posted as member of RERA in December 2022, when Satya Gopal was selected as the chairman of the authority.
