Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the work and activities of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), as part of the ongoing assessment of the Central Armed Police Forces . The meet was attended by Minister of State (Home) Kiren Rijiju, Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi, Secretary (Border Management) Susheel Kumar, Director General SSB Archana Ramasundaram, Additional Director General SSB SS Deswal amongst other senior officers of Union Home Ministry and SSB.
The Home Minister said that a contingent of SSB will soon be deployed in the United Nations Peacekeeping Operations.
