The 1978 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre and Former Home Secretary, Rajiv Mehrishi has been appointed as Comptroller & Auditor General of India. He will replace S K Sharma, who is retiring on September 24. Mehrishi retired yesterday from the post of Home Secretary after serving a period of two years.
