IAS officers Rajit Punhani & Ashish Shrivastava have been assigned new administrative roles at the Centre.
he Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of IAS Rajit Punhani (BH:91), who currently was serving as Secretary, Rajya Sabha Secretariat. Now he has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, in place of Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, IAS (KN:90), who is set to retire on 30th June 2025.
On the other hand IAS Ashish Srivastava (MP:92), currently serving as Advisor, Inter State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed as Secretary, Inter State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs, succeeding Shri K. Moses Chalai, IAS (MN:90), who has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance.
