Three senior IAS officers have been posted as Information Commissioners in Rajasthan.
In accordance with a recent directive issued by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, names of three senior IAS officers have been mandated for the position of Information Commissioners in three states. Among the list of the chosen senior officers are former IAS officers Suresh Chand Gupta (Retd IAS: 2005: RJ), Mahendra Kumar Parikh (Retd IAS: 2005: RJ) and Tikaram Sharma.
State Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra has issued orders for the appointment of retired IAS officers Suresh Chand Gupta (Retd IAS: 2005: RJ) and Mahendra Kumar Parikh (Retd IAS: 2005: RJ). The Governor has also appointed an incumbent IAS officer Tikaram Sharma as the Information Commissioner in Rajasthan.
