Two new Director Generals have been appointed in the Railway Board.
In accordance with a recently issued directive by the competent authority, names of IRMS officers, Hari Shankar Verma and R Rajgopal have been mandated for the appointment as the Director Generals in the Railway Board.
IRMS officer R Rajagopal is at present serving as the GM of RWF. Now he has been appointed as Director General (Human Resources) in the Railway Board; whereas Hari Shankar Verma was last posted as the DG in IRITM who now, has been designated as the Director General (Safety) in the Railway Board.
