IAS officer R Rajesh Kumar replaces Harishchandra Semwal in the state of Uttarakhand.
The Pushkar Singh Dhami government in a minor bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttarakhand, has reshuffled the three top bureaucrats of the state.
Year 2005 batch IAS Harishchandra Semwal was not able to continue in the Irrigation and Women Empowerment department & Child Development due to his ailment. Therefore the state administration has assigned the responsibility of the department to the 2007 batch IAS officer Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar.
