The 1984 batch IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre, R K Srivastava has been appointed as the Chairman of the Airport Authority of India for the period of five years. Sudhir Raheja AAI Member (Planning) was holding the temporary charge of the post prior to Shrivastava’s appointment.
The selection board had interviewed 10 senior officials for the post of AAI chairman on September 25.The post of chairman was lying vacant after the superannuation of the then incumbent V P Agrawal.
