The 1980 batch iPS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre, R C Tayal, Special DG, CRPF, has been assigned an additional charge of Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) consequent to the retirement on superannuation of incumbent Dilip Trivedi.
