After a recent bureaucratic development in Punjab, IAS Veerendra Kumar Meena has been mandated to be entrusted an additional responsibility as Administrative Secretary of Jails.
A year 1997 batch IAS officer, Veerendra Kumar Meena is currently holding the position of Principal Secretary to Government in the Department of Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities, Punjab.
With the new order Meena is to assume additional charge shortly replacing Mr. Kumar Rahul (2000 batch IAS).
