Two senior bureaucrats IAS Vikas Pratap and Alok Shekhar have been appointed new Additional Chief Secretary in Punjab.
A year 1994 batch Punjab cadre IAS officer Vikas Pratap designated as the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner, Governance Reforms, and Public Grievances. He additionally will take charge of Commissioner, Excise.
A year 1994-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer, Alok Shekhar has been deputed as the Additional Chief Secretary, Jails. He in addition will also be serving as the Additional Chief Secretary, Justice, Social Justice, Empowerment & Minorities, and Cooperation.
