Punjab Government has reshuffled 3 senior IAS officers whereas DK Tiwari has appointed ACS, Transport.
The Punjab government has announced new appointments for three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Among them is Mr. KK Yadav, a 2003-batch officer, who has been named the Administrative Secretary of the Industries and Commerce and Investment Promotion Department. This marks his return to an official role after being without a posting for over a month.
Mr. DK Tiwari, a 1994-batch IAS officer, has been designated as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Transport Department, in addition to being entrusted with the Parliamentary Affairs Department.
Meanwhile, Mr. Varun Roojam, a 2004-batch officer, has been posted as the Administrative Secretary of the Transport Department.
Notably, three other senior IAS officers—Mr. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh (1995 batch), Mr. Puneet Goyal (1991 batch), and Mr. Jitender Jorwal (2014 batch)—have not received any new assignments in this round of postings.
