A total number of sixteen top cops have been transferred in Punjab where Arvind Meena has been appointed as SP Headquarters, Ropar.
As per a recently issued directive by the state administration of Punjab, names of two IPS & fourteen PPS officers have been mandated for transfer and posting with new responsibilities in the Police Department of Punjab. Key names in the list of the IPS officers transferred include Dayama Harish Kumar, and Dayama Harish Kumar Omprakash.
One of the chosen IPS officers Arvind Meena, (2020) who previously was serving as SP, SD North, Amritsar, will now assume charge as SP Headquarters, Ropar, succeeding Mr. Rajpal Singh (PPS). He will be serving until further orders.
