The Government of Punjab has finally cleared way for IAS Parampal Kaur Sidhu’s electoral debut as BJP candidate.
IAS Parampal Kaur Sidhu is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from the Bathinda Parliamentary constituency as a BJP nominee. She was earlier also facing challenges in her bid to enter politics.
The uncertainty surrounding Sidhu’s transition from an IAS to a Member of Parliament seems to be resolving finally. Lately the Punjab government has communicated to the Centre with an approval on her candidature with No Objection.
