Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary Tourism, Avanish Awasthi has made a presentation before Governor Ram Naik on future development schemes in Ayodhya. This presentation which has been named as ” Navya Ayodhya” has been made by tourism department.
Apart from this Mr. Awasthi apprised Governor of dipotsava programme which is going to happen on 18 October in Ayodhya. There will be 1,71000 lamps will be lit up on this occasion. Governor Ram Naik, CM Yogi Adityanath, Tourism minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Minister for state for cultural Dr Mahesh Sharma, minister of state for tourism Alphons Knnanthanam along with many other dignitries will grace this grand programme.
Yogi government is putting its focus to launch many schemes in Ayodhya and want to develop it as International cultural hub for tourists. Under the able guidance of Mr. Avanish Awasthi, who is also Principal Secretary Information of state, a team of capable officers including Director Information Anuj K Jha are working 24/7 to formulate these schemes and to design a world class destination in this iconic cultural city of Ayodhya.
Avanish Awasthi said ” A grand cultural programme has been planned on 18th October where heritage walk of Ayodhya, a grand shobha Yatra depicting Lord Ram coming back to Ayodhya, symbolic enthronement of Lord Ram will be done. After that Governor and CM will inaugurate many schemes related with development of Ayodhya”
Awasthi also elaborated that state government had sent a DPR of Rs. 195.89 crore for integrated development of Ayodhya and now centre has approved Rs. 133.70 crore for the same. A grand statue of Lord Ram will also be set up once after NOC of NGT.
