Two IPS officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre have been given promotion at the Centre.
As per the notification of the competent authority, names of two IPS officers have been mandated for an elevation in the rank. Names of the two chosen top cops include IPS Anurag Kumar and IPS Abdul Ghanni Mir.
The two chosen police officers have been given the elevation through Proforma Promotion. The two police officers Anurag Kumar (IPS: 1994) and Abdul Ghani Mir (IPS: 1994) hail from the AGMUT cadre.
