Promotion to 4 IRS Officers to Chief Commissioner of Customs & Indirect Taxes

Four IRS officers have been elevated to Chief Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes.

The Government of India has approved the promotion of four Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers to the rank of Chief Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes (CCIT) for the Panel Year 2025.

While Naveen Kumar Jain and Rajiv Kapoor have been promoted on an ad-hoc basis, Kajal Singh and Pradeep Saxena have been elevated on a regular basis.

These promotions mark a significant milestone in their careers, entrusting them with greater responsibilities within the taxation and customs administration.
