IAS officer Prashant Sharma has been appointed as the new General Manager, Food Corporation of India (FCI).
As per a recently released notification by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), name of IAS officer Prashant Sharma has been mandated for appointment on the position of General Manager, Food Corporation of India (FCI). He has been given the appointment on deputation basis under the Central Staffing Scheme.
A year 2012 batch UP cadre IAS officer Prashant Sharma will be serving under the Department of Food & Public Distribution. He will be serving a total term of three years or until further orders.
