The 1982 batch IRS officer, Pramod Chandra Mody has been re-appointed as Chairman, Central Board of Direct Taxes(CBDT) upon his superannuation on 31 Aug 2019 for the period of one year with effect from 1 Sep 2019 to 31 Aug 2020.
