The 1982 batch IRS(IT) officer, Pramod Chandra Mody has been appointed as Chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes(CBDT). He succeeded Sushil Chnadra, who earlier Thursday named as an Election Commissioner ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.
