IAS Pouravi Jito pursued her dreams going against all odds. She is the inspiration for many journeying to the goal of the CSE.
Clearing UPSC CSE 2013 Pouravi Jito was on the AIR 213 and it was her fourth attempt. Hailing from Sri Ganganagar, Jito loved to live with big dreams and she initially wanted to become a CA.
She does not mince words while sharing how she conquered her dreams after dealing with failures.
Bucking conventional expectations by daring to dream large Pouravi Jito despite the constraints of her small-town upbringing, continued her journey to her goal. Spurred by her teacher and parents’ constant support Pouravi Jito envisioned soaring to great heights.
Her mother and father, both educators who run a local school, instilled in her the conviction that no goal was too big, pushing her to pursue a career in the civil service.
In the beginning her aspirations was to be a Chartered Accountant, She even cleared Common Proficiency Test (CPT), then suddenly friends who were preparing for civil service examinations inspired her in this direction. This is where she underwent a transformative realization. And now she is what she wanted to be, an IAS officer.
