New Delhi: In protest against the recent washout of Parliament, Prime Minister along with all BJP lawmakers will hold a day-long fast in the national capital on Thursday.
BJP president Amit Shah will be holding a similar day-long fast in Hubli in West Bengal.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Modi will address MPs through video conferencing and interact with some of them on the day when the MPs will be holding “Samata Diwas” in their respective constituencies on the occasion of Jyotiba Phule birth anniversary.
Earlier on Friday, while accusing the opposition of playing divisive politics, the Prime Minister had announced that BJP parliamentarians will observe a fast on April 12 to protest against the impasse in Parliament.
