PESB has selected S Mishra as Director In-Charge of Burnpur & Durgapur Steel Plants.
In its first meeting with two newly appointed members, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has chosen Surjit Mishra as Director In-Charge (DIC) of Burnpur & Durgapur Steel Plants.
Mishra, currently serving as Executive Director (Projects) at Indian Iron & Steel Company (IISCO), was selected from a pool of twelve candidates who appeared before the board.
Pending necessary clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), Mishra will take over from Brijendra Pratap Singh, who assumed the role of CMD at NALCO earlier this year.
The two new PESB members played a key role in the selection process, marking their first participation in the board’s deliberations.
