The 1982 batch IFS officer, Pankaj Saran has been appointed as Deputy NSA for the period of two years on deputation basis. prior to this he was serving as the Indian diplomat and the current Indian Ambassador to Russia. He has also served as the Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh.
