Koraput has been chosen for Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration in the year 2024. Koraput DM V Keerthi Vasan will be receiving the award.
Koraput district in Odisha has been selected for the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration, 2024, under the category ‘Holistic Development of Districts’. This national honour acknowledges the district’s outstanding progress in integrated development and effective governance.
The award will be conferred by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India during the Civil Services Day celebration scheduled to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, on April 21, 2025. The event is being organized by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
Mr. V Keerthi Vasan, District Magistrate of Koraput and a 2018-batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre, will receive the award on behalf of the district.
