UP State election commission has appointed observers for upcoming civic body elections. Senior IAS and Principal Secretary backward welfare Mr. Mahesh Gupta will be Observer for Lucknow, Sudhir Garg, Principal Secretary food processing will be Observer for Varanasi and Manoj Singh , Principal Secretary social welfare has been appointed observer for Gorakhpur. Many Secretary and spl Secretary level officers have also been appointed as observers in these elections.
Election commission has appointed 16 Principal Secretaries, 8 secretaries and 51 spl Secretary level officers for this job.
