IAS officer Nikhil Saraswat has been designated as Deputy Secretary in the Government e-Market Place.
As per the latest notification issued by the competent authority, year 2014 batch IRS-IT officer IRS Nikhil Saraswat has been mandated ppointed as Deputy Secy in the the Government e-Market Place (GeM).
Saraswat has been nominated for central deputation by the Department of Revenue under the Department of Commerce.
An official directive from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) confirmed Saraswat’s appointment falling under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS). He has been given a tenure of 4 years from taking over the charge, or until further notice, whichever comes first.
