IAS officers Samir Kumar & M Ramachandrudu have been given new appointments at the Centre.
A year 1999 batch senior IRTS officer Samir Kumar has been appointed as Joint Secretary, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. He will be serving from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice IRS Anita Sinha (IT:1990).
Simultaneously, a year 2009 batch IAS officer M Ramachandrudu (BH) has been posted as Director (Census Operations) (JS level), Bihar, O/o Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India, under the Ministry of Home Affairs. He will be serving from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure upto 31.12.2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
