New chief justices for six High Courts

Six Indian High Courts welcome their new Chief Justices.

A notification from the Centre, witnesses appointment of new Chief Justices (CJs) for six Indian states’ High Courts. The states include  Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Orissa, Allahabad, Gauhati and Meghalaya.

Here are the names of the judges who have been recommended for taking over as Chief Justices:

Justice Arun Bhansali has been appointed as Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court.
Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava has been appointed as Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.
Justice Vijay Bishnoi has been appointed as Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court.
Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh appointed as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court.
Justice Ritu Bahri has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court.
Justice S Vaidyanathan appointed as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court.
