The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the new appointments of IAS officers Santosh K Sarangi & Vivek Aggarwal.
Odisha cadre IAS Santosh Kumar Sarangi (1994), currently Director General, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
On the other hand MP cadre IAS offier Vivek Aggarwal (1994), presently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Culture.
