Two top cops have been appointed as Assistant IG in the police department of Uttarakhand.
Following a recently issued directive by the state administration of Uttarakhand, names of two top cops have been given posting as Assistant IG in the police department of the state. Names among the two chosen officers include IPS Mukesh Kumar and IPS Dhirendra Singh Gunjyal.
Mukesh Kumar (IPS-SPS:2011) was earlier serving as the Assistant IG, P & M/ SP, SCRB/SSTNS and now he has been transferred and appointed on the post of new DIG, PAC. On the other hand, Dhirendra Singh Gunjyal (IPS-SPS:2011), who was currently serving as Assistant IG, Prisons, is now going to take over as the DIG, Law & Order.
